AVZ was the only lithium stock today where Chinese/Asian buyers dominated with Chi-x accounting for more than 50% of buying. Theses astute investors know the demand spike in the years ahead cannot be accommodated by new production from Australian suppliers and SQM. It was a complete snub for these concerns & bullshit analyst reports suggesting oversupply and lower prices by years end. What I find laughable is that SQM are also predicting demand exceeding supply for many years to come and they're still 4-5 years away from any meaningful boost to production. What a complete over-reaction by the market to nonsense. But nonsense presents magnificent buying opportunities and astute Chinese/Asian investors pissed their pants with laughter as the market sold off and they loaded up on a bargain stock. Who doesn't want a gift!
