was barnaby joyce on the channel 7 election coverage??
watso flicked through the channels a bit, and did notice barnaby joyce looking a tad disillusioned. if it was the channel 7 coverage, then watso did not like it - far too many "whoosh whoosh" type of effects. watched channel 9 for a few seconds - but found the abc coverage to be the best
keep in mind that barnaby joyce had said that the libs were in a state of depression at the forthcoming election . my guess is that there will be even more when the party meets to thrash out the causes
despite the putting on a face of being confident, howard must have been worried. every poll showed that the libs would loose, and that howard would loose his seat. the libs would have done their own internal polling. It appears that the lab polling showed that they would win government, simply on the basis of the swing in nsw and qld - and this seems to be borne out. kevin rudd was campaigning in seats, which needed a big swing - and the fact that the swings occured, indicated that the private labor polling was correct . one would presume that the libs were getting similar results
