GE are very much aware of the technology that TTT have and I would not be surprised if they have been put on notice regarding a possible infringement.

Regarding the scaffold, I asked a question regarding the process and specifically the scaffold at a presentation last year. The scaffold for bikes is as simple as this - Buy a cheap aluminium frame from China for $15 and spray the titanium onto it. To remove the aluminium, simply heat the bike to aluminium melting point (I think 100 degrees) which is far lower than titanium (400 degrees). The aluminium disintegrates and you are left with a pure titanium frame. This process is carried out for weight sensitive objects such as bikes, but can be left in if weight is not an issue.
