Not to blow my trumpet mate, just so I can explain, but I have a Diploma of TA from FINSIA. One of the consistent messages we recieved is that technical targets are the LEAST reliable thing with TA. This was repeated to us many a time.

Also, and this is just my take, but I think its important to have a strategy that takes account of both fundamental and technical analysis - let them complement one another.

Fundamentally Gold should rise a lot. Technically (daily, weekly or monthly) gold is in an uptrend. The price stretches from bottom left to top right of any of those charts.
