"If it was a real "liquidation"" you would be a true loser. If it was not a real "liquidation" you fail to know you are cheated. At least you fail to protect yourself.
Why were you played by the secured creditors?
Anytime after you are played, you pay your money for the players, right? What's for blaming the players for your failure in the market? It is great for your mind calm but never reduce your loss.
Is it any different you lose all for true and false liquidation? I could not see the difference financially.
