AFR another, page-50

The whole idea that the AFR article said the ASX itself called the trading halt is pretty much made up by some posters here I think. Having read the article again, all I could find was this statement:

All the AFR said was that they think the ASX asked GSW for more information, which led to the trading halt. It doesn't say who asked for the trading halt, merely what caused it.


As for the point that it feels like the AFR has gone to war over this, perhaps this is caused by being too attached to the investment. I myself am merely an interested GSW observer and all I see are reporters going after management that looks like it may not have been fully honest in their ASX releases - as journalists should rightly do. If there are any other 500M market cap publicly listed companies with the same kind of inconsistencies in their disclosures, the AFR will almost certainly like to draw attention to them too.
