Once again you need to read the posts. The GMP authority in another country posted it around 11:30pm our time on Monday night. They would have most likely posted it there first before contacting us. It's not uncommon and isn't really anything the BOD can do about that. They have an obligation to do announcements in a reasonable timeframe they would have woke up in the morning to it and then had to go through the due diligence of replying and organising a halt with the asx. Unfortunately the BOD are humans who don't work 24/7 and need sleep.
As for trouble I doubt it as the information isn't classified and is publicly posted on another countries website so I doubt its insider trading.
