Read a while back that the Byron Bay line had converted to a lithium powered train. A tourist line, granted, but demonstrates future application. Damn those coastal hippies for their green dreams, but you gotta love em. I think I was one myself way back in the 60s/70s, before we all turned into our fathers. All that inhalation and free love when we had hair and hopes of a greener future. Hopes that now come with power from the sun and lithium storage. Hope for use yet, me thinks.
