Italian elections coming up. Euro will get sold off (bullish for USD), rate hike will be priced in for next FOMC. Gold will get fat fingered again. Once it hits 1270 Im off to buy my bricks for a long term hold.
Still overall bearish on the USD though which will keep our gold heads above water.
Gold isnt going anywhere serious until the air comes out of US Equities, then the magic happens. Like I said, could be 6-12 months away.
That said, a war with Korea or some other event could put a spanner in all of this.
