As I have posted previous..........sack all councils and replace them administrators. Gets rid of one level of politicians (generally the breeding ground and nursery of the loony left and developers surrogates). Administrators would have a set of guidelines for council responsibility (eg roads,rubbish parks n gardens etc), fiscal management and State policy.
No longer would rates increase exponentially to accommodate and duplicate frivolous council pursuits such as gender, sexuality, environmental, indigenous, refugee and immigrant programs and infrastructure............these are the responsibility of elected Federal Governments.
Should a council not achieve the goals setout by the State then the administrator would be sacked and replaced as happens in private business.
