The continuing suspension is either a glass half full or glass half empty scenario. So far everybody here has assumed the ASX is cracking the whip and GSW is struggling to come up with answers.
But what if GSW wants a continuing suspension? What if they are strategizing? The quarterly could be nearly ready and a good one, or a new positive announcement nearly ready. Either of these things would give the stock wings again and people would soon forgive the omission of telling shareholders that Fantastic Furniture had cancelled. (In all honesty, any time I've bought furniture it's between 3 and 6 weeks delivery, so what good would carving 10 minutes off delivery time do? )
Just putting it out there, GSW could be dragging their feet on this one deliberately. I don't mind a continuing suspension, it gives things a chance to cool down, and calmer minds to dominate. I worry about some of the posters on here who are fretting about how soon they can sell their shares, when they have no idea yet what the announcement will say. At the moment some people are completely fear-driven, which is how you can lose a lot of money in a hurry.
I have put a long list of cockroaches on "Ignore". Unbelievable how many have flooded this forum, you'd think they'd all have to go to their Grade 10 History class by now. I highly recommend doing it, it makes this forum much more useful to read.
