I did not read that whole article but it appears consisted with what I recall of Labors policy and with what is their actually policy based on the link I previously posted
There was no mention anywhere of a laptop for every school kid
What labor wants to do is have coputer access on every students desk, so that computer is part of learning traditional subjects and not a seperate subject.
This is waht the article you just posted confirms
Labor plan to achieve this by giving secondary schools grants of upto $1mil to fund the capital purchase of computer equipment.
