There was a report on ABC Four Corners or Country Wide ? with regard to meat exporters to China

There was only one registered and profitable and they had done the hard yards learnt the language and the customs and had been at it for many years
BUT no one else could get ALL the REQUIRED paperwork in place.

And the story was that unless it was a majority Chinese shareholder -- they did not stand a chance.
As a consequence a number of Meat Works did deals to get Chinese owners and eureka import licenses granted immediately.

Now you can be justified in saying that this is just doing business and that the Chinese Government is looking after their own --- the problem is that the Australian Government is not looking after it's own

So we get shafted by our own people

This is not an isolated story and is repeated in other area's with the Australian side of the deal just bending over to be stuffed.
When the Whyalla steel mill and its associated Arrium steel and mining business was in trouble Australia was ordered not to do any deal that would financially support the company, so the Indians moved in and another asset lost to Australian hands

The Australian Government (IE it's people) can be now sued in the world courts for doing anything that alters or effects the profitability of a foreign business, in other words cease and desist any action in Australia's best interests for the benefit of World Corporate Government and it's greedy bankers

IMHO Our politicians should be put up against a wall and shot as traitors

Trump in or out is irrelevant --- he looks after his country and we look after our own.

We should be doing trade deals that suit and benefit Australia and it's people and some politician standing up in front of the TV telling us how wonderful he is with such a great deal that he has accepted is just so much poppycock.

At the best they are just too stupid to understand what's going on, and at the worst are -- how do you know when a politician is lying -- watch to see if his lips move
