Margaret River reds feature prominently and I must mention my enjoyment a couple of weekend ago a label I got onto thru grays that being Briarose cabernet 2012. Beautiful and aging gracefully. Have many dozens. Also on the night the Xanadu cabernet 2012.

I love a good wine reading a good whine. Never been tempted by overseas offerings to be honest. Sure I have had a few but I keep coming back to home grown.

Which every way, the soils in the south make some pretty good product as the soils in the north will make some pretty good product. I had to somehow tie AUZ up here.

Lets get back to the Thack shall well. If it had red soil would it be a ThackaRANGA ?
