Yes I agree. I invest in a lot of tech companies (at the angel/seed stage) and there are many great Australian tech companies with amazing technology that are growing like crazy. A couple of my portfolio company's have greater revenue, faster growth, bigger markets, and quantifiably better tech than GSW, yet they are worth under $5 million and are no way ready to list.
Companies at the stage of GSW should not be listing on the ASX, they should be backed by VC money and be heads down working on the business, not wasting time and money on listing activities.
If GSW does fail to live up to the hype then it will put back all Aussie tech companies. I hope for more than the shareholders of GSW that the optimists are right.
