Calvert, do you use either commsec or etrade and are you a regular trader ?? reason I ask is that if you use etrade, as I do, you get free use of power etrade if you do at least 10 trades a month. there is no comparison to the standard etrade platform. I believe commsec professional is a similar deal. If you only do the odd trade or if you are the buy and hold type then fair enough stay as you are. But if you are getting down and dirty with the whole market gig then I would urge you to look at such platforms. You only sign up a month at a time so there is no ongoing obligation.
