I originally wanted to see our products in Woolies or coles and until recently, believed it to be a possibility. If you walk through Woolies health section you'll see the only chia seeds, and the rest of the so called 'superfood' products are all the Woolworths macro brand. If woolworths do introduce hemp one day, I believe they will do it though their own brand. Our way into this would be the possibility of supplying them with the hemp at wholesale for use of their own brand.
Personally, I don't think vitahemp is MCL's big focus. I believe their focus will be serious wholesale to competitor brands, as we can supply, hull, package and distribute. As I've previously stated, having 300 hectares of hemp in the ground is serious business, and I can't imagine any company with even half a brain running the show growing that much product without some proper distribution plans.
This thread about coles or Woolies, it's nice speculation and it would be great, but I can't see it happening. That being said, with what's in store for 2018 I don't think it matters all that much. Harvesting Australia's largest hemp crop should gain some attraction imo.
