Don't come here to discuss Trump or AVZ or robot women or anything else not related to PLS.


So for all the Trump haters can I just say:

Brainhacking

They scan you and then put you in a filter bubble

They appeal to your fears and anger

because you become more engaged

and the advertising is something you pay more attention to

so they can generate more revenue


they encourage you to join groups who think just like you

some are russian and/or other bots

when you're in that place you think everyone agrees with you

Instagram, Snapchat promote FOMO. Others are enjoying and you're missing out. Its a form of bullying.

The dangers of Facebook and Google

Its like when convenience foods began. Everything was easy and fun. Then you found out later its full of sugar and fat and salt.

... and they have an addictive quality like cigarettes.

The problem isn't Facebook and Google per se but the advertising models designed to make you fearful or angry to sell their products.

Less sunshine and direct human contact ... depression anyone?

Now when people ask you how's your day. You say oh, its ok but you get sooo angry about Trump ... and little rocket man is about to strike ... but hey, you've got the latest iphone ... and you've got that new cat food ... and you finally realised what a sham all religions are ... and you can get married now ... and you got a lot of likes on Facebook from friends and also a lot of people you don't know ... and your therapist says you're making progress ... and she gave you some stronger psychotropic medication ... but ... but ... but that Trump just makes you soooo angry.
