Go to this site and read about the level of corruption in Cambodia:-

    https://www.business-anti-corruption.com/country-profiles/cambodia

The biggest mining company so far to enter into business in Cambodia is BHP Billiton. They were fined US$25 million by a U.S. court, and are under ongoing investigation here by the A.F.P.  A big fine with possibly more to come for a kick back of $1.25 million in 'tea money' to obtain a mining licence.
Could this be what EMR are up against? Possibly so. It is possible this could be the reason other gold mining outfits are seeking to go ahead under the EMR umbrella. Angor Gold farmed out their Koan Nheak concession to EMR to run for them with EMR taking the major share of it, as Angkor has with other companies.  Is that so EMR will have all the headaches as well as the profits?
After having been delayed by action from the WWF and other NGOs , are they now being held to ransom by legitimate government departments in return for a mining licence ?   It could be the dilemma they find themselves in.   ....   Just asking, maybe this is not the case at all.   However I feel that they should give us some communication/reassurance as to why the delay.
