Do either of them have to have been "created" or are they simply a function of where we draw the dividing line on the spectrum of human behaviours?
Different groups will probably draw the line in different places, although I think most of us would agree that certain regions of the spectrum would be classified as "evil", and certain regions would be classified as "good", however there may be a middle region that's open to debate.
One notorious group has drawn the line such that killing people who disagree with them is classified as "good".
