I did look into NAND vs DRAM and the finding is still 50-50. Touching the difference on the surface, DRAM is much faster but require power to retain the memory whilst NAND is 1/15 the price of DRAM. NAND is flash which has its limit on rewriting, like cassette it eventually wears out. However, there are seemed to be more proposal that best solution is to combine both technologies in a setup.
My conclusion; invest in both.
