OK, went to AGM and spoke to broker mate who went to luncheon afterwards.
Spin off of nickel still not in the bag though co. wants to finalise in next 2/3 weeks. They have 3 or 4 companies who are putting deals on the table.
SLV is looking fantastic. Apparently they are producing at current rate of 80,000 Pt pa with practically zero costs due to chromite credits so $450m mkt cap with $120m before tax profit. New Chairmsn Gerry Nealon is brother of Ed Nealon who developed Aquarius. Plan for SLV is to run tailings treatment for a few years and develop u/g mine in conjunction. U/g asset is GAU. Not sure when deal is or how it might be structured but MD told he should not use SLV cash raised of $4m ! Possibility that SLV will use GAU as its exploration arm but ensure value recognised for PT.

Shareholdings in VRE and TNC will be sold at some stage with no commitment to timeline.

All in all, i think I am happy to sit and wait. Not sure if SLV will be in the market however I imagine all brokers are getting the nod that GAU is in play
