andy I have never met Noel Pearson but I know what he is saying and some ATSI people agree with him and some do not.
I personally agree with some of what he says and would probably disagree with atomu's comments on this matter.
Like I said in another post I would like to see some changes and in time everything does change, but to effect the type of change that Pearson wants will take decades ie one or two generations.
But it is certainly overdue that people on some of these communities took a long hard look at themselves and what they want in the long term for their children.
One can only hope though as people will not be forced and should not be forced into changing, but can certainly be encouraged and assisted if they choose a different direction.
