Another ACA story, page-20

I watched the video from ACA online this morning and unless they had different stories it wasn't that the person purchased a franchise and committed suicide a week later.

The story was that the ex-cop worked as a debt collector within RFG. She was talking with one of the families that owned a franchise and had outstanding debts to RFG, the family noted that the husband had suggested committing suicide so that the family received the insurance payout.

She then claims to have informed senior management of this quite distressing conversation and was advised that they would deal with the issue. She then notes when she contacted the franchisee a week later and asked if RFG had been in contact and if everything had been resolved she was advised that nobody had been in contact for that only contact they had received was that they still owed their franchise fees.

This isn't anything new however as it just once again shows that there was a lack of empathy and support for the franchisee's from upper levels of management. We have had plenty of reports along these lines already however and even had ex-franchisees post on Hotcopper with their own stories and experiences.
