Mike, I agree that something more is required. I hear rumours a cash component of at least 50c will be offered, possibly a dollar. The Australian story was based on similar rumors, their journo was clearly fed credible information to justify writing the following:

"There’s every reason to believe that Fairstar backers are busy arranging some sort of funding from interested parties, which would cover takeover costs and have plenty left over to drill the bejesus out of Wiluna West."

"Not only that, but there’s also every reason to believe that Fairstar is about to sweeten its all-scrip offer with a cash component."

This is prime time information from a serious journo, believe me, every reason to believe, bejesus, this was serious insider feeding happening.

Secondly, I disagree with you that the offer is a joke. GWR sp was hovering around $1.80 for a while before the offer, since the offer it;s been 20%-30%+ up. Also, the offer has been accepted by many shareholders and FAS is, like it or not, by far the largest shareholder in GWR.

Finally, I agree with you that we need a firm indication as to where FAS stands with its gold resource. MD has indicated it's 1 million + ounces, but there has been no confirmation.

PS, Falak's 80,000 share vote further suggests that he is in the loop and that this merger will be successful. Bejesus to you all.
