But you aren't technically correct when you say there is no boom without water. Theres a boom coming in ag commodity prices no matter what. And farmers don't necessarily need to produce as much as in the past to turn in bumper profits because hyperinflated prices for the things they are producing is more than accounting for decreased production. Eg our two best years on the farm here have been the last two which have both been amongst our lowest on record for rainfall.
