That's a damn good question.
The only taget I would go for at this stage.....are captured terrorists.....and to hell with their rights.....I would do whatever is necessary to extract whatever information in order to climb up the rung of their leadership.
Any terrorist fingered.......who manages to elude capture........his house and that of every sibling.......child......parent....blown up.
They see that we behave in this fashion rather than marching around with peace signs, they will think twice.....
The answer is to hit what they love and to hell with their civil liberties.........
Of course it's drastic....but no good thinking like an Ozzie when you're fighting Islamic fundamentalists....you have to out think them....and make their supporters aware that they will pay a terrible price for their support.........
And not with just threats........we actually carry the threats out....................
And it has to be done consistantly....not onelot doing it and the next lot moaning and whinging about the rights abuse.
This is a war........it just hasn't come to our backyard.
One thing I am sure of.....if god forbid something happens here and there is great loss of life and injury to many....there will be no stopping the Australian public's backlash at Muslims...........
But that's a separate issue.
We have to hit them hard.....and hit their supporters harder.............
No other way.........what choice do we have? Negotiate with Bin Ladin? He thinks you are scum.....don't kid yourself......you are scum in their eyes......

Nope....start with the ones we can identify.....haul in their families.......and move up the chain........
