A good point @Malaga and something I've certainly done before and regretted.
All depends on your trading style though, if you are trading the substance hold onto your green ones, more often than not they will be the ones to carry on. But be careful with the hype plays. Don't want to be the one left holding the bag if a particular sector or stock falls out of fashion.
