Gripper i am convinced that BHP would not be interested in oxiana at this stage regardless of what Xstrata do.
Its nice to think that the would be keen but think of a guy who owns a macdonalds store and paid $1mill for it.....he wants to expand.... does he buy a milk bar for $50k ????
Or does he buy another maccas store for $1 mill???

You cant expect a $300 billion company to buy out the ox for $10 - $12 billion.
IT just wont add anything substantial to their bottom line.
