I spoke to the Senior Geologist at GXY last week who is currently modelling the historic data drilled by BHP back in the 1970's, GXY also have some sampling results pending in the Assay Labs which are also due any day now.

Important fact about Shoemaker is that the FE is at surface, so the sampling should be very positive. Drilling should commence very early in 2008, with an initial resource statement due mid 2008 for GXY iron ore prospect at Shoemaker.

IMO GXY gives very good exposure to (Lithium / Tantalum & Iron Ore) all in high demand and short in supply.
