    Mitis,

I first entered options at .6c. I 4-bagged them. My initial interest was for a trade. But as often happens with my trades, I do research and I was quite impressed with where GPN was heading based on their announcements. It didn't take long though to realise that this was one big scam. How do I know? Because I've seen this sort of action many times before, there are key occurences in all these sort of companies. Take a look for example, at the likes of NWT (MUL), QTK, MPJ (YAM), LUM and you will see alot of similarities in all these companies. Foremost is lack of clarity and transparency, next is over-stated glorified announcements usually with eye-catching headlines, then there is the background of directors and/or influential share holders, then is lack of results or wiping of previous over-stated announcements under the carpet never to be heard of again.

I can safely say that I have not once, highlighted a dubious stock and see it become a success in the 20 years I have been following the markets. This doesn't mean that there won't be one in the future but I firmly believe in playing the percentages. I am happy to forgoe one missed opportunity that looked suspect then lose on all the others that ripped off their investors.

And yes I have traded GPN since that initial trade, the last being a loss on GPNOA at I think you're right 2.1c but I sold it again soon after at a loss. This brings up another point, comments about the future of a company doesn't mean its not necessarily tradeable. My comments of the past have focused on the company's longegivity based on an investor's perspective. I'm sure many have seen great opportunity to trade GPN in the past. It is always important to distinguish and is why so many people argue about company prospects, because often the goals of each individual is vastly different.

One thing for sure, I have no problems being proven wrong. If GPN does prosper on the back of their investments (however unpalatable it may seem at the moment) then I will be very happy to congratulate those who have held on and defended GPN for the duration. In fact, respect and support and protection at all costs for loved ones is a great personal trait to have, I just don't see that translating well into stocks. Who knows maybe its parents or uncles or cousins that some posters are defending when it comes to GPN. Then I totally understand.

Anyway enogh babbling but you did ask the question ;)
