“Signed contracts that management forecasts to have aggregated revenues of more than A$69.3M"”
What makes up the $69m?
Key word 1: “forecasts”. Pretty simple, Management makes a forecast (prediction) (as stated in the response) on its understanding of the market, the interest in the product from various roadshows, orders, commitments, EOI’s, eagerness of distributors to get on board (8 is it now? In just 1 year!)
Key word 2: aggregated. Pretty simple again, total $ over term of agreement. Three years in this case.
Key words 3: Signed contracts.
A question is whether the statement as a whole has the potential to mislead the market.
Another question is, if the contracts were announced with no forecast then is that potentially misleading the market. Accusations of keeping it low key for their ‘mates’.
No wonder cap raise was for sophisticated investors.
