Thanks for the support nick, I think its absolutely shambolic that the value of EDN was totally locked into the VAA shareprice. Is EDN really now half the business that it was when merger talks were being undertaken? (why not money and scrip?
The one thing I'm glad about is I didn't grab a bagful when edn sank to 30c (AUS) thinking I'd make easy money with VAA holding at 80 - 90 canadian. Grateful for very small mercies.
When directors are on a promise to have their pockets lined post merger(a la Qantas private equity takeover) how can they maintain objectivity? Clearly by the VAA shareprice they have/had NFI.
