If I owned the local business I would make a subscription renewal based on views and we could certainly help with those numbers.
We are also running a trial community TV channel in Coolum Beach and have 12 screens in various retail and hospitality businesses just promoting local businesses. Nothing new. However, with better quality content and some fillers, which BIG could provide, then it really does become a channel and not just signage.
The footfall for the opportunity to see those "always on" screens vary due to seasonal visitors but averages around 20,000 per week. And that's just 12 screens.
Not sure if we have the time to chase that opportunity but BIG could start up a franchise model based on.... Franchisees buy, install and manage the screens and BIG produce and repurpose the video content and charge their customers extra as an OOH package. In the US that could be mega and a GREAT way to promote their services and apps.
