    Hi Fudley61 and all,

Personally, I was looking forward to something above a subsistence level of life style in my retirement and that’s why back in 2002 I started buying physical Gold in earnest!

Those that think the various governments and central bankers can keep it all together with printing money out of fresh air and smoke and mirrors can retain that view if the wish. However; Mrs Igo’s little boy remains somewhat sceptical and therefore puts his trust in physical Gold and companies that look for and produce it.

Providing I can maintain my life style somewhere between Champagne, Caviar and Oysters and fish and chips and beer I will be happy, I really don’t fancy the pensioner’s pet mince or soup kitchen diet in my old age! I have recently returned from the UK where my last power bill asked me to keep an eye on my older neighbours, I’m not sure who I was supposed to telephone if I saw any of them turning blue. Still if putting a note on my bill alleviates their guilt as pensioners die of cold in homes with central heating they are afraid to switch on it must be OK. Tesco had a great deal on scotch one day so I bought the old boy opposite my old house a couple of bottles.

It’s an old article but I can assure you the problem still exists.

“Fuel poverty killed 15,000 people last winter”

Have a great weekend everyone and good luck with whatever you are currently holding.

Cheers and very best regards: Andy
