Joseph, think of it this way. Say Woodside are successful in coming up with a way to scam a small company out of its assets? Not an outcome I'm expecting but you can't rule it out as lawyers and big money are involved. We're going to have to work with them. So Far are maintaining a professional relationship and taking the attitude "We'll work with you but don't recognise your right to be there".
You also never know where you meet up in the future. Having said that, I don't think WPL would be FAR's first choice as a partner if Far was looking for someone but would still consider them if they were the top bidder.
In the meantime PE is ticking over in the background and a final decision yet to be given.... Hopefully FAR's way.
