Seems every second year apprentice in Victoria who works on union based jobs gets over 40k

Mature age apprentices are also classified as anyone who started their apprenticeship after the age of 21. They have a fixed pay for all years of their apprenticeship, and in all cases it is higher than 40k.
Some second year apprentices might not reach 40k in some trades, but I’d guess nearly all 3rd and 4th year apprentices would get above.
