Harls,
I had to stop reading the other thread as there's a little puppy yap yap yapping away (squeaky little bark, woof woof) all about a wishful state of thinking.
When a kid starts with "My Dad is bigger than your Dad" it warms my heart, bless the boy.
One thing I have learned is all the talk in the world means Jack. Time will tell all. 18 months? Ha Ha Ha, we'll have plenty of answers waaaayyyyy before that.
I think we will see some severe events early in 2008 and I think it will be a test, a comparison between a media unit that has been caught out exaggerating in the past vs a company that has quietly understated things all along.
One path leads to short term gratification, the other path leads to a company the market grows to trust. Which is the better path? That depends on whether you want some quick in and out or do you want something that has legs.
I have a strong suspicion that expectations set by a certain company will be sorely disappointed when the results are in. Of course that still won't shut some people up.
