I can see very little (so yes an opinion) to support the argument that there is anywhere near a high probability that company will struggle to succeed based on all the facts that have been presented regarding current funding and receipts covering development of Akida, business opportunities and very promising joint development agreements.... some conjecture - i.e. sales funnel narrows at base - we do however have a number of design wins of substance (fact) and qualified opportunities filtering through (refer to announcements, webinars and your own research). The stock market (day to day SP) is another matter entirely with traders, shorters, instos, evil geniuses and so on. If things turn out to be the great depression mk2 it will make little difference to me if I hold or not it will still not be the slightest bit easy. So I hold I have been forced to become a patient investor and better for it but am a great deal less uncertain of Brainchip being very successful than I thought I'd be 6mths ago. Very impressed with achievements to date.

Part 2

I can not know the exact reason for some posts but I can say it is mostly easy to recognise if the poster is demonstrating genuine empathy or exhibiting reactive or instrumental psychopathy but the benefit of the doubt is always given by those who posses empathy- within reason i.e. it doesn't make them incapable of utilising logic.

Knowing that empathy is simply not important to some (for various reasons) it is not worth responding other than to say 'we love you and hope you make your way to finding a shared positively constructive purpose in life maybe even through a drug induced epiphany facilitated by a hyperventilating spiritual healer and visions of talking hamsters'.

Empathy never makes someone weak (though opinions on that might vary depending on what you think is important and whether or not you see yourself as being more intelligent/capable/valuable than those around you - eg, Donald Trump - he really needs to be put on posters as a gold standard of intractable loneliness and of where we don't want the world to go - which in a roundabout way is kind of a contribution to civilisation isn't it? bit of a stretch).
