I give a 0.0001% probability of BHP going after a company like CVI.

No offense mate. But i think we both know thats very very far fetched.

The political risk of cameroon may be too much for BHP.

Also, BHP Petroleum is neck deep in the Gulf of Mexico. Most of their Oil and Gas Assets are there - with North West WA.

They are looking at consolidating their own assets, not expanding; and certainly not epanding into Africa; least not Cameroon.

I dont see BHP expanding its Petroleum division for quite a while.

Theyre far more concerned with bulk commodities.

And as i said, theyre neck deep in the Gulf Of Mexico anyway.
