President Viktor Yushchenko assured that he will make all steps necessary for the new government to begin functioning.
He promised that “there will be no single hour of delay from President’s office of new Ukrainian government formation”. That is why he has submitted the nomination of Yulia Tymoshenko as Prime Minister for a vote of Verkhovna Rada immediately, president's press office reported.
At the same time Yushchenko emphasized that there are questions which would be better resolved before government appointment. “These questions have already been worked over by the coalition rising no substantial contradictions,” President said. Yushchenko also announced that he shall meet with Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Verkhovna Rada Speaker in order to conduct “all necessary consultations and to hear his [Mr. Yatsenyuk’s ] opinion on the possibility of corresponding questions examination in that manner”.
