DJIA and HUI:Gold ratio charts.
As per comments previously the DJIA IMO has either made its top and is in a proper reversal or will bounce back and get even more dangerous. I personally can't see it plateauing and trading sideways from this height. It's hard to kill off the speculators and optimists that create overvalued markets and even in a fall it takes a fair bit of pain before their enthusiasm is totally damped. I've noticed some bounces this morning in the spec stocks but judging by the trading volume the water is still cold.
Trajectory of the HUI:Gold ratio still looking ugly. Definitely no buy signals in that for a big rally in gold stocks. More waiting. Our day will come.Esh
