Why are lithium prices falling at present? IMO, there will be slight surplus in 2018 and maybe 2019, and as I/you say, the longer term supply/demand fundamentals looks to be in deficit, and that based of forwards estimates from today. My view is that it will accelerate quicker that many think. but it going to take a year or so for new capacity on the battery production side to ramp up.
