From a broker friend...
He said that the trade over the last few days has been spread amongst brokers, so it does not seem that anyone is trying to manipulate the price. It would be very hard to do so with such small trades. He tends to think that with computerised trading brokers are able to fill their orders with smaller lots combined to complete the order. Itis also common when the trading thins out at a price point.
