Obviously things are getting quite tense here and I hope I can help ease the tension. I don't know if this would help, but my contacts in Brazil have been unusually non-committal about what's going on there at the moment with Sol Telecom and TV2U. Usually this is bad news, but this time I have the impression that something really positive may be happening.

My conclusion based on what I managed to gather so far is that TV2U may be launching it's own Brazilian website. That would explain why Sol Telecom portal (www.portalsol.com.br/tv) is not mentioning TV2U or their offer in general, but could do so once the announcement is made. That is to say that TV2U will be a recognised entity in its own right in Brazil, and all marketing and support activities will be done under the TV2U banner, not Sol Telecom's. That makes sense if TV2U is expanding and signing in other ISPs.  I doubt that an ISP would want to refer their clients to the Sol Telecom portal, so a TV2U portal makes sense and is very much in line with what was mentioned in earlier announcements by the company regarding the TV2U brand in Brazil.  Could that evolve some sort of a joint company? Quite possible.

My conclusion is based on the following:  There is a new website that has not been launched yet which is http://www.tv2u.com.br (notice the Brazilian TLD) which at this stage redirects you to an unreferenced  Sol portal page at http://www.portalsol.com.br/demo/ that is clearly carrying the TV2U logo.

Should that happen, it would add a significant value to the TV2U's brand (model for other countries) and, more importantly, allow it to expand its operations in a stronger commercial context.

There may be more good news to go with that to explain the trading halt/suspension though.

Just my thoughts to cheer you up people
