You are quite correct but I think you have to concede that not all people who work for companies whether employees or executives need to hold shares and not all employees and executives have the same risk appetite or same financial circumstances.

We shouldn't find it abhorrent if one of the execs gets to the end of his/her rope and starts to become more loyal to him or herself.

But I do agree that irrespective of the circumstance it needs to be reported.

As an aside I just think there is too much speculation as to what is really going on and it would be unwise to listen to all the noise. DC is either trying his best to do the right thing or preparing to bale. If we assume the former, the real question is, is DC's best good enough?
