Sorry, but in some cases, finace companies do insist the vendor make good on bad loans. It usually happens where the risk is high due to the industry and where repossession would bring no material return

Hospitality is probably the highest risk vertical and you certainly can't repose a video.

I know this for a fact as 18 years ago we sold digital signage to pubs and clubs and in our case, the finance vendor asked for a $1m guarantee. We aligned our marketing with one of the main breweries and they put up the guarantee which unfortunately was called upon due to the non-payments from the business.
