I think it is an built in step of the legal system as it would be accepted that these things are strung out as long as possible by the party with the weakest case before settling - I would guess the purpose of this session is to see if GSK wish to settle rather than have it out in court - as the court case is close to starting (in legal time frames that is) - I would like to think that the sticking point is now BTA requesting the settlement in Euros rather than USD after the slide in USD!!
