I am a small investor and a keen follower of the discussion about LPI in this forum. Thanks everyone for sharing their opinion.

I read the Martin's twitter or posts in Hotcopper about no concern with marketing when he owns 10%. I said that is an excuse for a technical expert. Even a person is technical good, he/she need to be complemented by a good marketing. Without it, it may take 100 years to be noticed and that is too late. With it, the person or company will shine in no time.

What is the harm of doing a bit more marketing? None except a bit of cost but rewards can be substantial.

In sharemarket, it is not just technical or quality of products. It is more about confidence on the management in specific and company in general.

When the CEO said 'soon', this creates an expectation and it literally soon like the next few days or a week or two the latest.
A reasonable person would not say 'soon' and just keep silent for days and weeks without commenting further with any updates. If it is on track, just say it is on track. If it is behind schedule, just say why it is behind and what the management is going to do to bring it on track again. Silent is no good for everyone.

This is just a simple thing to do to keeping people updated and managing people's expectation - a simple way of marketing.

To have become a CEO of LPI, I am sure Martin knows all these but may just need take a moment to reflect and decide what is good for him as the 10% owner as well as the other 90% shareholders.

    All are just my opinion.
