As to why lowball takeovers, why do people sell their shares to me for far less than they are worth?
No-one holds a gun to their head..same with the takeovers. Incidentally I only have 4 stocks left in my portfolio as all other have been taken over for more than twice what I paid.
There's no evil conspracy except the obvious everyone is out to screw you over stuff.
